The beach house is situated right on the beach and has a 180-degree, uninterrupted view of the ocean. The house has 6 bedrooms (12 persons maximum), four bathrooms, two lounges (TV lounge has flat screen TV with Open View (no DSTV).

An open plan dining area as well as a covered veranda from which you can enjoy magnificent sea views and the sound of the ocean. There is a dip swimming pool on the deck with optional pool net if there are small children around. The house is serviced daily excepting Sundays and public holidays. Wi-Fi is available for residence at no cost but will become limited (slowed down) with streaming and excessive downloading.

While the house is free standing and private, there are 3 other cottages on the property which are semi-detached to the house, each with their own private communal areas. There is parking for five cars maximum.

The house has an external alarm system which guests are responsible for arming. The parking area is fully fenced with an electric gate for entering and a security company is on hand should you need them.

The main bedroom has a king size bed, 4 bedrooms have two x ¾ beds in each room and one bedroom has two single beds. Unfortunately access to bedrooms and bathrooms are not wheelchair friendly. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove and an electric oven, and we have a 5025-litre water tank should there be water problems.

Bath towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels. Any additional guests visiting will need the permission of the Manager and a fee will be charges for any additional guests (above the 12) sleeping over. Please be aware that there may be load shedding during your stay, we provide 2 lamps for this and ask you to bring any additional lighting requirements.

The beach is protected by a reef ensuring safe bathing and there are lovely rock pools. It’s an ideal spot for fishing and there are mussels and oysters on the rocks as well as crayfish if you have the gear and licenses. Whales and dolphin can often be seen frolicking in the ocean during the season.

The beach house is at Sea Park which is 8km before Port Shepstone and an hour’s drive from Durban. There are many restaurants in the area and shops are within walking distance.

While the house is situated in Sea Park within a very quiet and tranquil setting there are other attractions in close proximity. Should you wish to go inland, the Oribi Gorge is Km away with all the activities it has to offer including hiking trails.
