Port Edward 17
The space
The living room and two of the bedrooms have doors opening onto the patio and large, lush garden – ideal for kids to play! The entire house has terracotta flooring, and was lovingly decorated in cool blues to emphasises the Caribbean atmosphere. The house is located in the part of the Estate that is furthest from the gate and closest to the beach. Therefore, it is very peaceful and quiet. The house sleeps 7, and since two bedrooms have queen sized beds and one has a bunk bed and single bed, it is ideal for 4 adults and up to 3 children, or up to 6 adults. The dining table seats 8 people, but it is lovely to sit on the patio with a view of the garden. The table on the patio also seats 8 people.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire unit, as well as communal areas, which include the tennis courts, pools, and play area.
Access to the beach is via scenic walkways.
The wagon trail is very close to the house, and is the shortest way to the river and beach. This is also the path that is used for launching boats and jetskis.
The sunset beach trail is a beautiful walkway, also close to the house, and guests are able to make their way to the beach on a wooden walkway, which is surrounded by tropical plants, like the beautiful wild hibiscus, directly to the 1 km long private, golden beach
Other things to note
* Free access to the Wild Coast Sun is offered to guests at the Estate. The Sun offers a wonderful water park and a variety of restaurants, and is situated less than 2 km away, just on the opposite side of the Umtamvuna river.
* Safety and security is paramount: Access to the Estate is restricted and guards patrol the Estate 24 hours per day.
* The unit is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer
* The main bedroom is air conditioned, and the other bedrooms and living area are equipped with very effective fans to keep the house cool.
